Airport Hills Management Confirms Ablakwa as Tenant, Not Property Owner
Finali Limited, the management company overseeing a residence in Airport Hills occupied by Foreign Affairs Minister and North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has confirmed that he is a tenant, not the owner of the property.
The clarification follows Ablakwa’s formal request to Finali Limited to verify his residential status at Plot No. 565, No. 1 Wilshire Boulevard, Airport Hills. This request was prompted by the Appointments Committee of Parliament, which sought details regarding his association with the property amid increasing scrutiny over his assets.
In a letter dated February 6, 2025, and addressed to the Chairman of the Appointments Committee, Bernard Ahiafor, Finali Limited affirmed that the property is owned by Husni Altheebeh.
According to the letter, Ablakwa initially entered a tenancy agreement with Altheebeh on March 1, 2017, and later renewed it on March 1, 2022. Finali Limited confirmed that the arrangement had received their official consent.
“Our records indicate that a Land Title Certificate for the property was issued on December 15, 2017, and is registered under Husni Altheebeh. The tenancy agreement involving Ablakwa and Nuhela Seidu was approved by our office on August 8, 2017. The lease remains active under the renewal terms established on March 1, 2022,” the statement clarified.
Finali Limited also noted that Airport Hills is primarily an owner-occupied community, with rental agreements being subject to management approval.
This confirmation comes amid heightened public interest in Mr. Ablakwa’s residential arrangements.
