Bantama NDC Commends Victoria Hardcastle for Boosting Votes in 2024 Elections
The Bantama branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed strong support for Victoria Emeafa Hardcastle, crediting her strategic leadership for the party’s improved electoral performance in the 2024 general elections.
According to the constituency executives, Hardcastle played a pivotal role in increasing NDC’s vote count from 8,954 to 10,254, while significantly cutting down the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) votes from 57,360 to 43,635. Her efforts were also linked to preventing an alleged NPP vote manipulation attempt involving 13,725 votes.
A statement released by the Bantama NDC highlighted her instrumental role in training polling agents, managing polling station operations, and supervising the collation of results. With Bantama hosting 174 polling stations, she spearheaded the training of 348 agents—two per station—ensuring that electoral procedures were conducted with efficiency and transparency. Her meticulous oversight at the collation center was described as exemplary, with her coordination ensuring that all pink sheets were submitted without delays.
Beyond her contributions to the elections, the NDC has voiced its confidence in Hardcastle’s ability to excel in her new position as Acting CEO of the Petroleum Commission. Her extensive expertise in the energy sector is expected to drive innovation and bolster Ghana’s petroleum industry, benefiting local enterprises and fostering a more sustainable energy landscape.
With her rising prominence within the NDC and her expanding influence in Ghana’s energy sector, Hardcastle is emerging as a key political and economic figure to watch in the post-2024 election era.
