Sarkodie Refutes Claims of Missing Kofi Mole’s ‘Makoma’ Video Shoot
Renowned rapper Sarkodie has dismissed allegations that he failed to attend the video shoot for Kofi Mole’s song ‘Makoma,’ clarifying that he was unaware of the scheduled date.
Responding to reports on social media, Sarkodie took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the situation. Reacting to a post from Hitz FM’s official X account, he explained that any absence on his part was due to miscommunication rather than intentional neglect.
“Yaa monma me din nda kakra me sr3 mo … have no idea about this and if it actually happened, there was miscommunication somewhere. Only responding to this cos I got love for my superstar @kofi_mole. I don’t play games … I’m in or not,” he wrote.

Speaking on Hitz FM on Tuesday, January 28, 2024, video director Yaw Skyface explained that Kofi Mole had scheduled two dates for the shoot, but Sarkodie did not attend either.
This is not the first time Sarkodie has faced similar accusations. Over the years, artists like Freddy Meiway, Yemi Alade, Samini, and Edem have also claimed that he was unresponsive to scheduled video shoots.
